I ❤️ Paris

Amongst the many wonderful things about this city, it’s romanticism was overwhelming. And to be here over the Christmas holiday, well, let’s just say I’m in love with Paris.

The people may not have been the most polite or patient, but we were in such a blissful state that we weren’t affected by others around us. We walked aimlessly through the cobblestone streets of the city and stumbled upon some great markets and unassumingly amazing sites. We ventured in to the Louvre, too gigantic to see everything, we naturally made our way to the Mona Lisa. There is so much art to see that it is impossible to get through it all! But we witnessed some great sculptures and paintings nonetheless.

We took a beautiful lunch cruise along the Seine on Christmas Eve, and had our own Charcuterie Board with some French wine in our hotel room for Christmas dinner. Our room was fantastic, the sounds of the city and the view of the Eiffel Tower will forever be a cherished memory for us.

I’ve always wanted to walk along the Champs Elysees- it was so fun to accomplish yet another bucket list item! And to think that this was only the beginning of our journey left me feeling fortunate, grateful and excited for the rest to come. Next up, London 🚇
